Rob has over 30 years’ experience in dispute resolution and litigation in relation to a wide variety of commercial, contractual and corporate disputes in a broad range of industry sectors including finance, property, mining & resources, agri-business and hospitality.

Rob also has extensive experience in insolvency, both corporate and personal, and works with liquidators, administrators, trustees, directors and creditors throughout all aspects of the insolvent administration process.

Rob has advised and represented clients with regard to a diverse range of legal issues including:

  • in relation to a variety of breach of contract matters including partnership and joint venture disputes, board and shareholder disagreements, disputes concerning contracts for the sale of shares and business, property and building disputes, issues regarding quality of products or services and allegations of misleading & deceptive conduct and misrepresentation;
  • acting for insolvency practitioners in prosecuting claims for breach of director’s duties, insolvent trading, breach of trust and preference claims and other enforcement & recovery actions and in obtaining orders for and conducting public examinations;
  • applications for injunctive relief and specific performance;
  • advising in respect of directors’ and officers’ duties and obligations under the Corporations Law;
  • in relation to claims of professional negligence, breach of contract and breach of statutory duty by professional advisers including lawyers, accountants, financial and investment advisers, real estate agents and responsible entities;
  • acting in estate litigation and claims pursuant to the Inheritance (Family Provision) Act; and
  • as to trustee’s duties and other fiduciary obligations, breach of fiduciary duty and associated equitable claims and relief.
